Transfer Chain

From One Transfer Contract to 15 Fish Ponds

01 · Technology Transfer

Wireless Compact Multi-Parameter
Water Quality Monitor Design

Source: 112 Agri-Sci-1.5.1-Aqua-A1 (commissioned research, Fisheries Research Institute, MOA). One technology transfer, NT$150k licensing fee, one-year term, one licensee. One utility model patent application filed under the same project.

02 · Commercialization

Smart Farm Water Quality Monitoring
& Environmental Surveillance Kit

Productized the monitor design: multi-parameter ORP, pH, DO, EC and temperature measurement, solar power with no external charging, self-cleaning sensors, plus phone remote viewing and power control integration.

03 · Rollout

Deployed at 15
Farm Sites

Deployed through the FY113 Digital Cloud Service R&D Grant across six townships in Hsinchu and Tainan and five species, and continuing to spread to agribusiness clients in subsequent grant programs.

Commercializing Industry R&D Equipment: Golden Clam Sorter

Beyond water monitoring, CYC developed a clam sorter under the FY113 Agricultural Industry R&D Program, replacing manual picking with hydraulic sorting, validated on site at the Lichuan Fish Farm processing plant in Hualien.

Sorting yield99.7% (920 clams and 3 stones in the good-product zone)
ThroughputOver 6 kg per minute on average (target 5 kg)
Test pass rate31 items each in unit and final tests, 100% pass rate
Labor impactFinal visual inspection staff cut from 7 to 4, roughly 43% less
ExtensibilityExtendable to hard clams and other shellfish, and to density-based sorting in general
